APO - PP/DS Operation was not scheduled before non-working time

Hello all,

We use a heuristic with algorithm /SAPAPO/HEUR_PLAN_SEQUENCE_MAN using compact schedule in order to do a manual sequence using the transaction /SAPAPO/RPT.

When we have planning a resource with a period downtime we are facing with the behavior: if the time before downtime was not sufficient to planning the total quantity for the operation, it is planned. If the time was not sufficient the operation is totally planned after the downtime. With this issue, the resource becomes improperly idle during this period before the downtime.

The ideal scenario for us is to plan the operation to begin before the downtime and to finish after the downtime.

How can we control this?

Hi Januario,

Use BAdI /SAPAPO/CRESDOWNTIME, refer to SAP note 448601.
