Hello,
I have just applied lates SPS on my NW 7.0 (EHP1) Java Instance.
Now when i try to logon to NWA (or the portal) then i get this error:
"Cannot redirect to the requested application, the redirect attribute is invalid"
Anyone know how to solve this?
Cheers,
Kenneth

Check this parameter in RZ10
icm/HTTP/redirect_<xx>
Thanks

We had the same thing when accessing our Solution Manager SLD following Support Packs. I was clicking on a Favorites link to my SLD that was saved in my Browser.
http://<hostname>:<port>/logon/logonServlet
Logging on as j2ee_admin resulted in the "cannot redirect to the requested application" message. So I tried using the path to SLD below, which runs through a redirect to the logon page.
Oddly enough, the second URL ends up redirected to the one I first used but this time I was able to logon without issue. I can't explain what happened in the Netweaver J2EE but it's a workaround others can try when they encounter this.
Now, when I use that first URL in my Favorites, it works just fine.

Try to access the same link again, after you get the error, you'll need to get the defaulttrace from
INSTANCEDIR/j2ee/cluster/serverN/defaultrace.log, paste the log here.

Can you check the default trace file for additional information?
Kind regards,
Mark
