Confirmation of file process

Hi,

There is a pdf file which we should pick up from a source FTP and drop into the target FTP.

Requirement: After the PDF is completely written to the target FTP, we have to deliver data from SAP R/3 also to the target FTP server.

We have chosen proxy communication between R/3 and XI to get the business data.

Process: When the user saves a business document, the same ABAP program would trigger the proxy for business data as well as download a pdf into a source FTP server. XI would deliver the business data into the target FTP, as well as pick up the pdf from source FTP into target FTP.

Since pdf is not business data and we normally use only configuration to create the scenario for it, I am no able to combine the two processes.

Hi John,

Get both the data (Proxy and Pdf file) in the PI folder and then transfer both the files simultaneously.
