Integration of Non SAP system with SRM application

Hello All,

we have a business requirement to integrate a Non SAP enterprise application (Mfg Pro) with SRM system, currently we are with SRM 550 server in Extended classisc scenario.

Requst the pointers towards to achieving this integration scenario, like what are the points that need to be taken care for successful integration.

Hi Nikhil,

In our system landscape, there is ECC and SRM 5.0, however in certain geographies business still uses Mfg Pro as the enterprise system.

There is a requirement to handle requistioning in SRM for this geography with Mfg Pro as backend.

We are planning to use standalone scenario for this geography, want to know whether it is possible to operate with ECS and standalone way in the same system.

If we have to operate in this manner, what are the integration points that need to be considered.

Hi,

Yes it is possible to operate both extended classic scenario and standalone scenarios simultaneously. If you have prodt categories specifically from your mfgpro system, then you can maintain this in config settings'Define backend systems for product category' with local system. Else you can use badi bbp_determine_logsys to achieve this.
