Validation of vendor address during replication - possible to deactivate?

Dear Expterts,

in SRM 7.0 CS, i am confronted with the following question:

Is is possible to configure SRM in a way, that during the replication of vendors from R/3 (e.g. via "bbpgetvd"), the SRM system does flag such missing data like ZIP code of the vendor.

As you know, currently the replication does not work, in case such data parts like ZIP code has not been maintained properly on the R/3 side.

Thank you very much.

Thank you very much for pointer.

What i have also seen now, is the the checking mechanism itself is sitting under the following IMG path in SRM:

SAP Web Application Server ---> General Settings ---> Set Countries ---> Set Country Specific Checks

There, for example for the field of ZIP code, the required length and the checking rule are maintained.

Thank you.

You can deactivate the requiremnt for ZIP code in a country address. SAP has country set up in SPRO , for country make a configuration change for address zip code requriemet for that country, this change should be made for all the vendor's country in SRM system , then one should replicate vendors from R/3 EEC to SRM , followed by putting back the county zip code control for address.

Would it be easier for you to write a report in ECC to populate the missing zip codes for those LFA1 entries before transferring the vendors to SRM? You can populate those entries with a dummy zip code in the report so that it is easy to identify in SRM for future maintenance.
