External Catalog Auto login issue

hi,

we are into upgrade from SRM 5.0 to SRM 7.0,

the auto login of a external catalog is not working in SRM 7.0 which is working fine in SRM 5.0,

when ever we open that catalog it is asking login credentials.

when we allow the cookies for that external catalog in internet Options settings of Internet Explorer ,

then we are able to see the catalog items and we can create shopping cart for that catalog.

is there any other way to do with out touching the internet settings of IE ?

Experts please advice...

Hi,

Add the URL of the external catalog in your Internet Explorer trusted sites and re-start the web browser.

Hi Bhargava,

Sometimes IE version can also affect catalogue display. In our case, one of catalogue's IE got upgarded, none of the users were able to auto log in to catalogue. The error was "Page cannot be displayed". when IE version was upgraded, they were successfully able to login.

You can check with vendor regarding this. But please activate delete cookies and also see if it is included in blocked site.

Thanks for the valuable answer,

the vendor site is included in deleted cookies site list , when i set to allow it is working fine.

but we can not say the users to do the same , is there any other solution for this issue.

Apologies for delay in replying to you.

But we actually suggest this to users to flag delete cookies option. Unfortunately i do not have any alternative reply to your concern.
