Handling units

Today, we build the Handling Units based on ship-to party.

Multiple sales orders placed by customer are consolidated into one delivery by u201Cship-to partyu201D and we build the production orders accordingly.

So, at the end of production line we end up with multiple production orders to be confirmed and built into u201COne Handling unitu201D by "Ship to Party" which needs to be assigned exact u201Cdeliveryu201D created above.

Note: the location from which the Handling units are picked for delivery is WM managed Can someone please guide me best way to accomplish the task? Any ideas will be grateful. Thanks in advance.

From outbound delivery, you can do the packing in to a Handling unit in VL02N > Edit> Pack.

In 'processing of HUs for Outboud Delivery screen', you can pack all delivery line items in to a Single HU by using the standard SAP process of packing in VL02N. IF the HU is alreday generated, you just have to enter it in the Handling Unit field. Otherwise, by entering the packaging material type, HU will be automatically created. You will have to select all lines and pack it
