Assign Reason for rejection by document type?

Is it possible to assign/limit the Reason for Rejections by sales document type? For example I only want certain Reason for Rejections to be shown on a Credit memo request document type. Right now all sales documents share the list of Reason for Rejections that were created in 'Sales Documents: Rejection Reasons"

It is not possible in standard.

You can create a Z-table to maintain Reason for Rejection and Document type combination. Through USEREXIT_SAVE_DOCUMENT in MV45AFZZ - while saving the sales order - it will check the Z-table and throw an error in case of mismatch.
