We have an PI 7.0 landscape that is currently on SPS13. (Yes I know its very old, and are waiting until 7.3 release to upgrade.) We are having an issue where any JAVA request sent to the system via the ICM (80xx) fails. But sending the request directly to JAVA (5xx00) works just fine. We have reviewed the config of the ICM and ensured that all the SICF service need are enabled. We have also ran ICM traces and it shows the JAVA requests being forwarded to the localhost java stack. But we get no response, not even a 404 error. I suspect this is an bug due to the extremely old SPS level we are currently on. NOTE: We have a BI 7.01 SPS05 landscape that this works just fine on.
Has anyone come across this in the past, if so where they able to fix and what the fix was?
