User status CRTD to REL

For user there was a project whose System status was REL but user status was CRTD. While creating PO throwing error because User Status was CRTD.

So in project builder from status icon I clicked on radio button 20 REL and changed it from 10 CRTD.And the problem was solved.

I want to know how could it be that user status was CRTD even when system status is REL. For other systems I check that whenever I am releasing project the user status also changes simultaneously.

I checked in OK02 but CRTD lowest no 10 highest no 20

REL lowest no 20 highest no 30.

Does it have anything to do with transaction influence?

This could be due to the fact that the user status CTRD has some business transactions which are forbidden. You may go to the user staus Please check the same in OK02

Hi,

If want to set automatically change user status to RElease upon project REL, u can set it by double click on REL user status & switch on option button "SET" for <Release>, then whenever you are releasing project the user status also changes simultaneously.
