I implemented an RF solution for mobile scanners with SAPconsole some time ago. We had some problems when scanner lost the WiFi-Conection. The user had to logon again and to repeat data input.
Do ITSmobile has the same problem?
I guess the http-based communication is stateless and won't mind if the WFi connection is lost.
Best regards
Torsten
Hi,
you are right, since HTTP is a stateless protocoll, the session will likely not be restored after you lost the wifi connection and got it back. So called Industry Browsers solve this issue by intercepting HTTP requests and checking for a wifi connection before the HTTP request gets actually sent. Other features like Key Remapping (Mobile IE does not support F-Key Mapping) and user lockout from mobile OS usually also ship with such an Industry Browser.

Uwe

You might see if the Telnet Server application is able to 'save the session' and wait for a reconnect. The Georgia SoftWorks ([www.georgiasoftworks.com]) solution is able to put the user right back where he was before the disconnect.
