HI
Tracking Logic of all those activities which are causing delay in Project Scheduled Finish, accentuating one activity which is then followed by second activity and so on, until all activities disturbing Project finish milestone are identified. As we did in Primavera.

Please read sap help on reduction strategies in network scheduling...
You can apply reduction strategy only for critical activities in the network..
Please read SAP help so it will be easy for you to compare with primavera...

Hi,
I am working in a fertilizer co. (FFC) our planned turnaround is of 15-18 days depends on nature of job. So the duration of turnaround is very little, and management required to make a tight grip on major milestones like urea production, ammonia production, co2 availability and furnace firing. In this cenerio my (planner) duty is to check these milestones at the end of 12 hrs. shift. and track the operations who are eating their float and can drive these major milestones after 2 or 3 days.
I am performing this job in Primavera by opening the Predecessor window and then check all predecessories links and unlink the less critical jobs, scheduled them and then check less critical jobs and so on, till I reached the final job who is the major driver of our milestones.
In SAP PS, can I do this type of exercise.
