Unable to add Used DC in CE 7.2 in a webdynpro java application

Hi,

Scenario:

I have created a DC which displays errors for input validation. I am using this DC in a parent DC where the users fill in the input values and submits data.

I have added the used DC in the component properties of the parent DC and built both parent and child.

But after the above step when i click on the used components to add the child DC. The child DC does not show up in the options.

Right click on the Child DC component and select "Add to Public Part". Navigate through the steps to create a Public Part. Choose the default dependencies. Then Build the child DC. Now you should be able to see the Public Part of the child DC when u try to add dependency from Parent DC.

Make child dc public

Add the child dc in dependencies of parent dc .

build both DC's.

then add used dc in parent dc...
