GuiXT window not visible

In GUIXT profile I have maintained the start window as hidden. Then I stopped seeing the GuiXT window.

Now I want to change it to "minimise" instead of "hidden". To do this I need to change the "Profile" again. But I do not see the GuiXT window. Can any body suggest how can I make the window appear again so I can change the settings ?

Any help is greatly appreciated .

Hi there,

You can also type "guixt visible" in the windows prompt to make the window visible again.

I tried looking for guixt.ini file on my C-drive. I do not see it. Then I tried 'guixt visible' and it worked.

Hello Vince,

look for the file guixt.ini under C:\Program files\SAP\Frontend\SAPgui (*). Open ir with notepad (or some text editor) and change

StartHidden     Yes

to

StartHidden     No

Close and restart your SAPgui to see the changes.

(*) the directory may vary, if the file isn't exactly there, search for it somewhere under C:\Program files\SAP\
