Hi Experts,
We have PI 7.0 and installed PI 7.1 in a new server.
I generated .tpz files to transport the repository and design objects as we have only 40 interfaces in the scope.
The repository objects were imported successfully, but everytime I try to make the changes in the SOAP communication channels just imported, I get the following error message:
Attempt to access the 1 requested objects on 1 failed.
Detailed information:
com.sap.aii.ib.core.roa.RoaObjectAccessException:
Attempt to read object Adapter Metadata SOAP | http://sap.com/xi/XI/System,
type AdapterMetaData from application REPOSITORY on
system REPOSITORY failed. Object does not exist. Detailed
informatio n: WORKSPACE_NAME_NOT_FOUND (ROA_MOA_NOTCOMPLETED)
We have imported the metadata from Service Marketplace.
I believe the error is occuring because the file was generated in PI 7.0 (SAP_BASIS 7.00) and I'm trying to import them in PI 7.1 (SAP BASIS 7.11). so the metadata are not the same (I guess).
My question is: what should be the correct approach in this case? Would be create the communication channels manually? Or is there any other possible way to solve this without create them manually?
Thanks in advance,
Daniela
Hello
Do you have the following Software Components in the ESR:
1) SAP BASIS 7.0
2) SAP BASIS 7.11 (with the SP version matching your system SP release)
These swcv's contain the adapter metadata.
If you change the metadata to the SAP BASIS 7.11 version, probably the error will be solved. You can select it in the Adapter Type field.
See the notes below for further details:
