SAP ERP 2005 SR2 error on import abap

I am installing SAP IDES 2005 SR2 on Windows 2003 standalone server with 1TB external drive and am stuck with error CJS-30022 error code 103 and FCO-00011. Followed this thread with an identical issue but failed to resolve hence asking the experts for any solution to resolve the errors and the installation process. Check the corresponding logfiles in the installation directory (SAPAPPL0.log etc.)

Error 1034 - this is conection with DB.

Please, check Oracle Listener service, status must be "started".

Yes the message about listener not responding is strange - checked every time the status - it was started... checked the system and application events to verify about the service- service was confirmed in start mode... hope this helps

SAPSYSTEMNAME=SID

Checked the SAPAPPL2.log file...thanks Markus & Aleh

Aleh - you were right....NOTE: do not trust the status on services.msc window - check logging to sqlplus or cmd prompt to see if database is mounted...

Showed error "DbSl Trace: CONNECT failed with sql error '1034'" in SAPAPPL2.log

In SQLPLUS - could not log in as sysdba or <sid>adm got error ora-01034 and ora-27101

followed the step to correct:-

On cmd prompt keyed in:

set oracle_sid = ras

sqlplus /nolog

conn system/manager as sysdba

shutdown abort

startup

On "startup" command - Got error ORA-00093:shared_pool_reserved_size must be between 5000 and 81788928 - had

101788928 before in initras.ora file - changed the size as recommended

Ran "startup" cmd again

mounted the database and the instance successfully

Started SAPINST....remaining 3 import jobs completed

ran the sapinst - import abap completed and now in phase 15 of 23

Hi,

Install recommended version 1.4.2 - https://service.sap.com/sap/support/notes/716604

Your version 1.4.2.13 has a lot of "bugs".
