Batch number differers in packaging and Line item in Delivery.

Dear Friends,

Client has brought to our notice that Delivery has a batch 12xxxxxx10 .

Where as in the packaging batch picked up for the same material is 12xxxxxx23.

How do we ensue that the batch picked up in the packaging is the same as batch determined in the delivery line item?

Hi Trupti

Are you refering to Delivery Note and Packing List? If so, then check with the ABAP team and look at the relevant SAP Script or Smart Forms.

If you are mentioning about the SAP Delivery document, then the delivery batch and the batch in the packing tab will be the same, unless manually changed. Check the Change Documents.
