Hi,

What is printed instead of the Chinese characters? Is it # characters? With unicode device types like SWINCF or SWINCFC, this should work. You can check what mapping is set for the fonts via report RSCPSETCASCADINGFONTS.(display device type settings) See the guide contained in the attachments of SAP note #812821. But generally the default mapping settings should work fine.

What is the result if you try via non-Unicode device type CNSAPWIN or HANWIN(see SAP note #1038413)?

Aidan

CNSAPWIN/SWINCFC can print out Chinese with Access Method G Front end printing.

but the two type don't print out Chinese with access method U 'print using Berkeley Protoco', the types don't support 'U'??

Hi,

With windows device types like CNSAPWIN and SWINCF, they can work with Access method U or S, but they must be connected via a windows print server running SAPSprint.(see SAP note ##894444) For these device types, the print data has to be created via windows prnter drivers.

Aidan
