Quality Management to Measure the Performance of Equipment

Dear Expert,

Is anyone know is quality management module suit to measure the performance on particular equipment?

For instance, to measure the machine running hours, power supply in watt of Genset(equipment) by diesel usage;

to measure vehicles(equipment) running distance in km by diesel usage..

Well you can always create the Manual inspection lot & do the result recording against the parameters.......but my point of view is

You should use PM module for the same.There is concept of Measuring point & measuring document which is mainly used for machine running hours, power supply in watt of Genset(equipment) etc

basically to measure something (like distance) some input values and formula is required

in inspection plan u can enter such char and formulas.

while recording results enter input values, based upon formula results will be calculated.
