CCMS config for PI7.0

Hi All,

We are looking at setting up CCMS config for our PI 7.0 system.Can anyone share some pointers.Thanks aton.

Yes, you would need to install the agent.

Hi Deepak,

Thanks a ton for the information.So there is no way without installing agents.First i would have install the agents and then proced with the config right?What all alerts have you configured for your PI system.Thanks.

Yes, You are right.

we have not used CCMS based alerts in our projects. CCMS is used more for monitoring systems (like queues).

We have used traditional alerts for mapping & connection related errors.

Hi,

I had one doubt.Do we have to go for local monitoring for both abap and java stack.Or else go for CEN.Thanks.
