Lean Warehouse management-storage types

Hi,

It is possible to create various storage types like rack type,open type and cold type in lean warehouse management.If so it is possible to restrict the user to store specific material in specific storage types.It is possible to create TO for storage location to storage location transfer movement type.

What is the meaning of Sloc Indicator ?Can you explain how it works ?

hi,

My requirement is i am moving a stock from A storage location to B storage location ,In "B" storage location is having three way of storing stocks like cold,open and rack. It is possible restrict a material in storage location level or lean WM level.

Hi

if your requirement is to move the material to particular storage type, it can be done through Sloc Indicator, Create Sloc Indicators & assign to particular Sloc/Stor Type through Spro>Interfaces>Inventory management-->Define Sloc indicators. (** Just check the path as im not infront of sap system at the moment)

And define this in the storage type search strategy to force the material to particular storage type under sloc.
