CCMS Will work after system copy ?

Hi Gurus,

I have a question regarding the CCMS monitoring.

We have done the CCMS configuration / Early watch configuration / Wily etc in a solution manager system.

Now we have done a system copy of this to New system .

My question is that will the configuration will work in new system ? (Which i Doubt) if yes then what all chnages we have to do inorder to make this work.

Or we have to the configuration from the beginning.

PS: the landscape is big with more than 100 systems.

Please put your suggestions .

You may want to have a quick look at SAP Notes 795779 and 422129.

And especially 422129, which may offer a solution

You frequently find incorrect entries in the context overview after a

system copy or after copies from application servers.....

I think this relates to copying shared memory.....so please have a look through these notes to see if they will address your specific issues, since there are known issues with CCMS after a system copy is done.

Thankyou for your reply.

i was thinking if do the system copy with same SID name and zone name then it should work i guess.

What are your thoughts on this .

Also one more thing

If We do the migration from Solaris to AIX then what all chnages we have to do ?
