Former Member

Hello,

just like many of you, I just can´t overcome the dreaded step 'Import ABAP'. I´ve done everything that I´ve been recommended to and nothing, as well as the many posts that I´ve read. The Netweaver 2004s installation is a real head ache and is driving me mad. I don´t think my poor computer can withstand any longer my wrath and fists.

Now I´m getting this error message:

+ERROR 2006-08-04 21:54:04

CJS-30022 Program 'Migration Monitor' exits with error code 103. For details see log file(s) import_monitor.java.log, import_monitor.log.+

and in the log files I get:

+java version "1.4.2_08"

Java HotSpot(TM) Client VM (build 1.4.2_08-b03, mixed mode)

During the setup, change the default parallel processes from 3 to 1. It will take longer to install (for me it took about 9 hours end to end) but it works.

I have the same problem. Can you explain me how to change the number of parallel jobs?

(With ECC 5.0 you can decide during the installation)

Hi There,

During the phase 2 when you have given all the required parameters for the installation like, the path of export, kernel, etc. The last stage before the installation starts to load, is that it confirms if all the parameters you had given is correct and you have a button called "Start". In that stage you have a check box against each parameter and you also have one of the parameters as "No of parallel jobs to be run". Click the chek box and you get a revise button. In that you change that 3 to 1.

Hope this helps.
