Reset sample for inspection lot

Hi Experts,

I have created one process order. After GR inspection lot is created. I done Result recording for inspection point. Now status of inspection lot is INSP RREC SPRQ QLCH. Now I have change my inspection plan and I try to reset sample by QAC3.

But system throw error that The function you select cannot be carried out:bcoz Inspection active & Result confirmed.

How to solve this.

If you maintained transaction control, you can assign new inspection plan at transaction QA02 after transaction QAC3.

The status 'REL' is not needed for this solution.

My simple requirement is as below.

I have done result recording for inspection point 258896. Now I have change my inspection plan. How I can assign this inspection plan to do result recording for the same inspection point 258896.

1.Standard way

Reverse original GR document at transaction MBST then GR again.

New inspection lot will be created with correct inspection plan.

2.Not recommend way

Maintain transaction control 'cancel sample' from forbidden to warning for status 'I0212' and 'I0213' at transaction BS22.

You can reset sample at transaction QAC3 then assign correct inspection plan.

As status is

INSP RREC SPRQ QLCH.

Result recording is done.After doing RR its not possible to reset sample !!

For resetting status should be REL

Reset of sample using QAC3

or

QA02>enter lot no->click on reset->enter->save--->check the status of lot will become REL to CRTD.
