MDM - Shopping List Acess to Users

Hi,

Please help with the following situation:

User A - Catalog XPTO , with catalog- named-search AA

User B - Catalog XIOW, with catalog- named-search BB

User A, creates a Shopping List, called BTW that is shared.

User B sees the Shopping List BTW and the articles that are listed are not contained in his named-search.

In this situation, User B can't buy the itens of this Shopping List, as they are not part of their catalog BB.

How can we cut the acess of these itens, for user B?

I mean, User B can't buy them, so there must be any error ou any way of not showing them... Do you know any?

Thanks in advance,

Maria

Maria,

We did implement something similar. We did it in SRM_MDM Catalog 3.0, Which one you are trying?

When you two different catalogs, they have two different WS Links, right? Do they connect to same MDM Repository?

Shopping List is nothing but Masks in MDM Repository. So your roles to the two users you are showing determines, who can access what?

Named Searches given in WS URL is just a comiled query that will show up as shortlist. It does not have any realtionship with shopping list.

If the User B has role/rights to transfer catalog item X, No matter where its shown be it A's shopping list or B's shopping list. He will be able to transfer the same to cart.

So, try transfering the same items ( which are in A's shopping list) directly with out going thru any list. If it works, then it should work when you go thru shopping list.

If you face problem, please post the message again.
