HI experts
we have all proxy interfaces from PI to ECC . And in the h type RFC destination we use central instance host name , so load balancing is not possible in H type RFC Only thing need to be done is to configure web dispatcher in ECC to distribute the requests across application servers. Can any body please confirm this If I am right ,Can you please share me ,if you have any information regarding this.
Please find the below link whihc talks about high available in PI to configutre external RFC and HTTP destination to Web dispatcher

External RFC and HTTP Destinations
RFC and HTTP destinations to the Integration Server should address the load balanced components Message Server and Web Dispatcher

Hi,
Yes, I confirm that you need a SAP Web Dispatcher to load balance HTTP access to ECC.
If PI and ECC are both in the internal company network, you can install the web disptcher on the ECC CI server.
Was there an other question in your message ?

Olivier
