Hi All,

recently i have changed the password of S-User ID, due to which there

are some changes to be done in RFCs and for approval of support pack in

maitenanace optimizer.

i have maintained the changed password in TA solution_manager -->

settings ->global settings and maintained the S_User ID and password

and also changed in AISUSER txn. apart from these i have changed the

password in SM59 for SAP-OSS & SAP-OSS-LIST-O01 RFCs, but when am trying

to approve some support pactch am getting error as " Invalid user

S00012345 when calling SAP backend system "

Kindly suggest where else i have to change password.

Regards!!

Hello,

Does the S user belong to the same SAP customer number as the installation of the systems you try to update?

Can you access the SAP Service Marketplace without issues?

Is the new password in 'initial' state?

Have you entered the S user as the username in the SAP-OSS RFC?

Best regards,

Hi Miguel,

thanks for reply.

S-User belongs to the same customer number, and am able to login to SAP without any issue.

first i used S-User in SAP-OSS rfc connection, checked connection test and got error as name or password is incorrect, then i changed ID to OSS_RFC with password cpic, then connection test is OK.

kindly suggest.

Regards!!

Hi

While config in DSWP, System create RFC SAP-OSS based on SAPOSS.

SAPOSS should be with the user OSS_RFC, but while generation SAP-OSS it should be with your S-user ID.

so please once again remove SAP-OSS in your system and recreate it

>Go to the solution overview of transaction DSWP. Choose the menu point "Settings -> Global settings".

>Choose the tab "Connection to SAP"

> Re-enter the user (S user for your customer number) and the password and save your entries. When you save, the system regenerates the SAP-OSS destination

and after u did check the connection test again.

If again fails regenerate user Suser Password try again

Thanks

Do you have the badi for multiple customer numbers enabled ?

If you're not a VAR customer you must disable this badi using point 2 of note 1140822.

In transaction AISUSER you must see two columns if you're managing just one customer number and three colums for VAR customers.
