Hello,
awfully bad start on a Monday. In a shared BO environment, a fellow of mine deleted a folder.
Is there any way, we can restore the folder?

the only safe backup solution for BO is to do CMS DB + FRS filestore backup.
For CMS DB backup you use your particular DB vendor recomendations, for FRS - any filesystem level backup product available on the market.
Tt depends on what type of backup it is.
If it's in a BIAR file, then it's quite easy to import that report back using Import Wizard. But if it is CMC back up than it is quite taugh
