Help Required on View's Layout visibility

Hi Experts,

When I am selecting any view in Component Controller, I am not able to see the Layout. Its giving error message "Service Cann't be reached" with details as below:

What has happened?

URL http://s08sapvcn1:8022/sap/bc/wdvd call was terminated because the corresponding service is not available.

ErrorCode:ICF-NF-http-c:000-u:SAPSYS-l:E-i:s08sapvcn1_S08_22-v:0-s:403-r:Forbidden

Please help me out as How to come out from this problem? Because of this I am not able to design the View.

Hi

I think the activation is needed webdynpro service in the SICF transaction.

Execute the T-code SICF and Execute (F8)

In Default Host >> sap >> bc >> Webdynpro >> Right click on it >> Activate all service

Hi All,

Thanks for your valuable inputs. i have resolved this issue by:

1. Execute the T-code SICF and Execute (F8)

2. Activating /sap/bc/wdvd/

3. Adding sub service - painting under wdvd and activating the same.

Hi sumesh ,

The service sap/bc/wdvd has to be activated.

Please go to transaction sicf, and click on execute.

Then traverse to the path sap/bc , there you will find an service named wdvd.

Right click on the service and select activate.

this should solve the problem.
