Recurring Inspection & Inspection Certificates

1.Some of the vendors send the quality certificates by fax and e-mail which is received by quality department and some physically sent along with the material. So, during goods receipt if the clerk does not find the certificate at goods receipt and selects u201CNou201D in MIGO transaction we need the material to go into u201CQu201D status by default. Can you please let me know how to accomplish the task?

2.For some of the materials, we need the stocked materials to be inspected once in X days from date of manufacture/receipt/SLED. Is there an option in SAP to change the stock status from Un-restricted to quality automatically for inspection (Recurring Inspection?)

1.There can be one option.Confirm certificate during UD:

In config of certificate type is configured as

certificate for GR item - active

Certificate check required - active.

when you tick on Certificate Check req in customization then:-->

You can confirm that you have checked the content of the certificate in the certificate transaction or when making the usage decision.

This option will be there even if you are mensioning certificate received durin GR (Yes/No)

2.Yes Inspection type 09 can solve your purpose
