JSPM - Patching Process for PI

Dear Friends,

We are patching the PI 7.1 JAVA Instance. I do have the folowing files in the /usr/sap/trans/EPS/in directory along with other JAVA engine patches...

igsexe_2-10007938.sar

igshelper_2-10007938.sar

SAPHOSTAGENT711_57-20006320.SAR

My question is, will the JSPM also extract apply the above patch files along with other JAVA engine patches using the stack.xml file???

Or else, we have to manually extract and apply them???

Hi Nikee,

JSPM can do IGS upgrade but my past experience suggest to do it manually.

Just uncar it and replace all files in IGS folder.
