Total of percentages must equal 100

HI Friends,

We are in SRM4.0 and Extended classic scenario.

If we follow the following steps,Getting the following error message "Total of percentages must equal 100".

1. Created SC# XYZ more than 10 line items

2. Changed the PO in Process my Purchase order,

- Here I click on Change tab and then Check tab and received the error message:"Total of percentages must equal 100"

3. And also Automatically extra line item got added under Account assignment overview tab and Received the error message: Total of percentages must equal 100" for all line items.

Note: This is happening for only more than 10 line item PO's.

Could you please tell If any oss note exist on this.

Symptom

Follow-on note of notes 1457290, 1462603, 1496509.

Error BBP_PD003 'Total of percentages must equal 100' unjustified or error BBP_PD678 'Percentage value is less than or equal to -100 or greater than +100' missing. Follow-on problem: dump in the Sourcing Cockpit may occur.

Reason and Prerequisites

Accounting index change in global table causes unwanted side effects.

once you increase the qty , is final delivery/invoice indicator unset to allow for further confirmation ?

Check Accounting distribution too how it was distributed ?

Note 1046269 - "The sum of the distributed quantities" error on PO

Try to recreate the problem in non production environment to understand the issue . once you recreated, you can fix it easily.

Hi Muthu,

After increasing or decreasing quantity in PO. there is a extra line item got added under account assignment overview tab.

Account assignment overview tab:

! Line ! Percentage ! Assigned to ! Description ! GL Account ! Description

1 ! 100 ! Cost center ! ! GL account !

1 ! 100 ! Cost center ! ! GL account ! --This is duplicate item after changing the PO

Received the following error message: Total of percentages must equal 100.

Please help to fix this issue...Even we have raised the sap message and there is no reply yet.
