we have a newstore in india,what is the process to add a new location under plant?

Hi Vani,

For every plant there should be a storage location.Before doing ityou have to create the storage location and have to assign this to your plant according to your organisation structure.

To do so,follow this steps:

1. Goto SPRO-> IMG-> Enterprise Structure->Definition->Materials Management-> Maintain Storage Location.

2. Then,Goto->spro->IMG->Enterprise Structure ->Assignment->Logistics Execution->Assign Warehousenumber to plant/storage location.

Hi there:

Normally, you should create storage location,you need to go to spro, path: Enterprise structure/definition/materials management/maintain storage location

then you should go to spro again to assign this storage location to that plant, path:enterprise structure/assignment/logistics execution/assign warehouse number to plant/storage location,good luck.
