Client copy filtering by date

Hello,

I have to make a client copy from production to dev. system. It´s a very large client but I must use SAP_ALL profile.

I know there is a report for exclude specific tables in the copy, and other similar tools.

Do you know if there is a way to make a client copy filtering by date? I mean, using profile SAP_ALL, target client only take business data since a specific date. I heard about that but I don´t know if it is posible.

This is not possible using client copy.

You need tools like SAP TDMS for that purpose.

Hello Pablo,

Because we have to do a lot of refreshments each year we started to investigate the possibilities of tools which can support us.

At the moment we are looking to TDMS from SAP and DSM from EPI-USE who both have the possibility to make a full copy or copy of a part of a production system based on time or on objects.

As said earlier you need to use TDMS for ERP scenario if you are talking about ERP system.
