Reporting of usage of master data into Solman

Hello everybody!

My boss amused me. He would like to get a report in SM of current customizing and usage of master data in our ECC solution. For example, what company code, controlling area, plants do we have. We need this for preparing docs about the solution. First I had a look at Solution Documentation Assistant, but it described business processes more than master data.

So I need something kind of SDA, but considered with master data.

It would be great, if you advise me something.

Hi,

There is no feature available which gives you customizing details like what are the plants, storage location, sales area and so on or master data for that matter. SDA will help you document your existing business processes. Ability to capture configuration data is a Myth as of today.

I've found in google that there is a product called RBE Plus which can make such kind of reports in SM. But this is a partner solution available only for extra fee. I won't give any links not to promote it.
