Hi

Both Annual Values and Total Values are selected in the Budget Profile. Does this have any impact on the was the Budget Availability control functions? Also is it a SAP recomended practice to select both or is it better to set up 2 seperate profiles? If it is not recomended then what are the steps to be followed before changing the Configuration?

Hi,

This is an excerpt from SAP Help,

"You can decide whether availability control is carried out on the basis of year-independent (= total values) or year-dependent values".

If you tick both Annual values and Total Values availability control will work for both year independent and year dependent values.

Read SAP Help once. You will get a clear picture about Budgeting and Availability Control.

Thanks for your very helpful answer. Taking this one step forward will the Availability checking work on the Overall Budget or the Annual Budget with this setting?. May be this answer is also there in the help, but would appreciate your point of view.
