Dear ALL,
My customer is planning on a fresh PI implementation. We are dealing 4-5 different geographic locations spread across the globe. We are in a PI instance planning & sizing phase.
1. How do we plan our landscape in this kind of a scenario ?
2. What are all the criterias we should be considering?
3. What are the sizing options that needs to e considered.
Your recommendations are highly appriciated.
Regards,
Sita K

If the data load is low and network connections are faster enough, you can use just one PI system
Other wise, one PI system with multiple Decentral Adapter Engines, which are placed locally at the geographic locations
3rd option is to go with Federated PI architecture, where multiple PI instances are used at the local geographic locations and talk to the central PI instance.
