Hi Experts.

I have installed on my PC the software trial: SAP NetWeaver 7.0 Java and ABAP trial version on linux - vmware edition :).

One question:

I Can practice WebDynpro ABAP in this software trial???

... I want to learn webdynpro abap

Hi,

Good to know that you want to lean WDA.

Webdynpro for ABAP is available from Netweaver 7.0,so i do not see any problem with that.

Why you posted this question here ?. You have the system and why would not you give a try ?.

because I made an example webdynpro abap from SE80 and then execute it appears in the browser that "service is not available".

then... what services I have to start and where?

If i may suggest, post exactly your problem and try to give as much as details possible. Search SCN before you post question.

Had you already posted that you have problem with "service is not available" then readers could have directed you to one of the many threads here.

SE80 -> Test my webdynpro ABAP, This is the error:

Service cannot be reached

What has happened?

URL http://ivml2005.wdf.sap.corp:8042/sap/bc/webdynpro/sap/z_00_usr02 call was terminated because the corresponding service is not available.

Note

  • The termination occurred in system N4S with error code 403 and for the reason Forbidden.

  • The selected virtual host was 0 .

What can I do?

  • Please select a valid URL.

  • If you do not yet have a user ID, contact your system administrator.

ErrorCode:ICF-NF-http-c:000-u:SAPSYS-l:E-i:ivml2005_N4S_42-v:0-s:403-r:Forbidden

You can go to SICF transaction

there go to the path sap/bc/webdynpro/

right click on the web dynpro node and

activate the service . then one popup will come select the option to acitvate the underneath services also.

then try running the application again.

it should work

..

One question

where did you get the trail version of the software.

Is it available on SDN.

I was able to activate the services and therefore I was able to run my WebDynpro :).

The note 1088717 helped me.
