Dear all,

We are using Netweaver Business Client in HTTPS to connect our ECC 604 system.

The SAP system sends a certificate that we can install to trust the SAP server. This avoid to get the popup at logon saying that we don't trust the SAP system.

Is there a way to configure SAP so that it can send our own company certificate? Is-it possible to upload our certificate file (.crt) in transaction strustsso2? We would like to avoid to install another certificate on all PCs.

Hi,

You can't reuse an existing certificate because the DN must correspond to the URL used.

The solution is to create a server certificate for ECC signed by a certification authory whose certificate is already stored in all the PC of your company. This certification authority may be yhe internal PKI if it exists or a well known company like Verisign or Thawte.
