Disp+Work processes in Task Manages occupies almost 99% Memory usage

This has happened in our 2 of the Production systems now. I checked in SM50 & everything is fine there. No processes are occupied.

Also stop/start the SAPOSCOL, but still no luck.

Need help in resolving this issue ASAP as these being Production systems.

Your help is appreciated. Thank You

Sameer

I recommend reading

[Memory management on Windows|http://help.sap.com/saphelp_nw70ehp1/helpdata/en/49/3d18e213301ec6e10000000a42189b/frameset.htm]

to get familiar how a SAP systems memory allocation works.

What you see is "normal", shared memory is allocated on system start. If all physical memory is allocated you may have your parameters set wrong (PHYS_MEMSIZE, em_initial_size_MB etc.)

This problem has all of a sudden popped up.

The system in APO Production on SQL Server 2005, OS Windows NT

Thanks,

Honestly I don't see a "problem"; if you read some information on the link given you'll be able to find out what is allocating the memory.

If you still think that this is a problem and you checked the instance parameters open an OSS call. It's impossible to give a suggestion if you don't provide more information about the memory parameters you set.
