Error Message when we assign Locked PRT to the Order

Hi,

Presently system is giving warning mesaage when we assign the locked PRT in the Maintenance Order and which can be ignored.Is there any way to change the warning message to error message?We want to stop the assignment if the PRT status is locked/deleted.

Message number is -CF234

Try these two options

1. Equipment status profile restriction for business transaction control - Tcode OIBS

2. System status maintain - Tcode BS22

Hi,

Thanks for the replies.

I want to give some more explanation about the requirement.When I am assigning the PRT to the operation, system should not allow me to assign the Locked PRT.System should give an error message.

I have tried to change the user status (OIBS) and system status to forbidden but these are working when we give the PRT Equipment in the Order header level not in the operation level.

Can any focus some light on this issue.

Use User exit

IWO10002 -->PM maintenance order: Customer check for order release

You have to build logic that PM order will not release if PRT is locked
