Text is not getting copied from Standard order to Debit memo request

Hi Gurus,

I had maintained some text types at Standard order and the same is not getting copied into debit memo request.

is anything should be done at copy control level (VTAA)?

Hi,

You have to do the following.

1. Check if both sales order and DMR have the same text procedure assigned to them. If the procedures are different, then ensure that the text type is available in both the procedures.

2. Ensure that the access sequence you are using in text ID is same even if they are in different procedures (in case they have two different text procedures)

If these two settings are correct and normal copy control settings are done, the text will be copied to DMR.

Hi,

Goto the T.Code "VOTXN".

Select "Sales Document Header".Click on Change.

Double click on "Text procedure assignment".

Check teh text determination procedure assigend to your sales order type.

Click on "Text proceddure".Select your procedure.Click on Text ID's in Text procedure.

Check the tick mark against the field "Refer/Duplicate" for your required text ID.

The procedure is similar if you want to copy the text for line item.
