Why batch Split in delivery?

Hi Gurus,

I am facign a problem while creating delivery. When I create a delivery from sales order, the batch is splitting in two separate line items in delivery whereas there is only one line item in Sales order.

Can you please guide me why this is happenign or where it is switching from?

Hi,

sales order is say having 10 qnt.And in stock if you have 10 qnt in three different batches then system will show as three sub item when you are creating delivery.This you can see when you click '+' indicator in delivery line item.

Check the Stock in Hand. There would less stock in the Batch then total delivery quantity...

yes, we have got enough stock. What happening is, we got single line item in sales order. But when delivery is created the same line item splits in two line items (one without batch and one with batch).
