BI system not starting after Windows Upgrade

Hi,

We have upgraded OS to "windows 2008 R2" for our BI system according to note "1494740

- SAP system migration from Windows 2003 to 2008 (R2) 64-bit".

After os upgrade we are able to start the database successfully but when we are

starting application, work processes are getting died with ora-01017. We executed

oradbusr.sql script also but no success.

When we are trying "R3trans -d" its successfully returns 0000.

Before Upgrade OS, BI system was runing on following environment

OS: Windows 2003

DB: Oracle 11.2.0.1

Application : NW 7.0 EHP1

There is no @ used for db users

Are you able connecting with ABAP schema user id in Database Level!

Thanks Mrinal.

The error: ora-01017 comes normally for invalid username/password; logon denied.

Can you please check if they are correct. Please check the SAPNOTE: 400241.

Secondly, I think your listener is doing fine (as you have already started the database).

Please check once tnsnames.ora file if you feel something might be wrong in listener.

If still problem persists, please give the dev_w0 trace once. Let's check what it says.

Also, please see the thread once also.

I have two doubts

1. Is NW7.0 EHP1/Ora 11i supports Windows 2008 R2. From PAM its looks like it supports

2. Windows oracle services for 11i.

Actually during Windows upgrade services are removed and we created services manually as mentioned in the note 1494740.

If anyone's system is running on Oracle 11.2.0.1 in windows 2003 environment can you please list the Service Names & Parameter details.

Then I will crosscheck with our system.

at last solved the problem due to stupid mistake, one sap service is running with LocalAdmin instaed of SAPService<SID>
