we are migrate from (SAP 4.6c/oracle 9.2.0.5/AIX 5.3 ) from IBM power5 to IBM power7 with sap 4.6c/oracle9.2.0.5/Aix 5.3) but TL12. also IPs and servers name same we just take full backup and restore in new power7 machine.

but where run heavy reports on sap they give very bad performance also when we run from sqlplus.

I cannot see any more error in sap as will as oracle log files

Please read the mentioned Oracle metalink article. It tells you exactly what patches you need.

I'd also consider updating to the latest Oracle patchlevel, 9.2.0.5 is VERY old.

Are you running 5.3 on Power 7?

If yes, check Oracle metalink 282036.1 whether you're on the necessary TL and ML/SP level.

Wonder if you install the required patches and opatches to your new DB.

Hi,

Warning: lio_listio returned EAGAIN*
*Performance degradation may be seen

Such warnings can occur if maxreqs or maxservers parameters are set too low at OS level.

Along with the above suggested SAP Note , refer these useful document [Oracle Architecture and Tuning on AIX|http://www-03.ibm.com/support/techdocs/atsmastr.nsf/5cb5ed706d254a8186256c71006d2e0a/bae31a51a00fa0018625721f00268dc4/$FILE/Oracle%20Architecture%20and%20Tuning%20on%20AIX%20%28v%202.0%29.pdf]. to get more detailed information on some other required configuration settings at ORACLE level as well as on AIX OS level.
