WBS Element in PO will changed after enter click

Hi experts,

We use SRM 7.0

When I change Account Assigment Category to WBS Element, add value A-00119 and click enter, then It will changes to value A-00-119.

Is it settings for account assigment category? SPRO? or SAP error?

Hi

This may be getting defaulted from the user attribute who is creating the SC(at position level), check the attribute in PPOSA_BBP.

Atttribute: WBS Element Attribute ID: PRO

I tested the system behaviour on my side, the WBS element get adjusted to the nearest correct vlaue of the ECC backend. After adjusting if the WBS value is correct then system does not give any error, even after the adjustment is the WBS element is not correct system expects the user to make correction to the WBS element. For me this should not be an issue.

A-00119 is WBS from Back end.

Do you know place in coding where this data can be changed?

I have found only FUNCTION 'BBP_BUFFER' cl_abap_typedescr=>describe_by_data , but it didn't help me
