Cannot display programs in Se38 or run debugger (/h) on my machine

Hi Experts,

I am experiencing a very wierd problem where I am not able to display source code of programs in SE38 or run debugger (/h) to debug programs on my machine.

I have all the required access because when I login to SAP from my own ID on some other machine, I am able to do this.

But on my machine, when I run se38 and enter program name and hit display it just goes into a indefinate hanged stage, same happens when i execute a program in debuggin mode.

Please give some suggest as i am not able to figure out the reason for this.

Thanks!

Regards

Rasheed

Hi Rasheed Ahmad,

As i understand your problem, it was resolved when you changed mode to Front-End Editor (Old) right?

So, if you change to Front-End Editor (New), it's will pending. How did you fix?

Thanks

So, that is, what I call a workaround. What is the solution?

It is an interface problem between the chair and the keyboard...

You can change your client seetings (normally). Via the SAPGui Security Center some settings can be transfered to "local machine" and then no longer changed by a restricted "local user".

But generally the user can choose their client and tools to login with...

Cheers,
