Inspection plan determination

HI,

Insp lot # 041 &042 ( usage 1 & 2) with early inspection lot creation are assigned in Material master

Insp type # 041 is prefererd one

we implemented user exit # QPL10001

Process order released ,Based on order type, , exit will pick correct inspection plan

upto this it is working good

But inspection lot status is "CRTD" not released

user manually go to QA02 -- press Task list button & sample then lot get released

we need to automate this too

Does any one come across this issue & if you know solution

please guide us

In the settings for the inspection type, make sure 'Automatic assignment' field is checked.

my question is , it not yet released

is there any check box we might be missing in this exit

I am not sure what logic you have written for the selection but make sure that

1.Task list has status 4

2.try to hard code the logic for selection of group & group counter in the logic.

3.the user exit I told is for selection whereas the user exit you have used is for preferred inspection.

Actually whenever system finds Two Inspection plan then it always go to CRTD mode.To avoid this you have to use user exit with some logic of group & group counter.
