material is not defined

hi Experts,

Plse tell me that why material is not defined by sales oranisation,distribution & division Channel. & language EN.

send some suggestions & useful answers.

Hi,

In SAP if you need to create a SD document, All the master data (Customer /material/price/tax) need to be extended/created with the sales area(Sales orgdist chandiv). You can extend your material/create in the required sales area in MM01.

Hi there:

It means that material had not been extended to sales organization/distribution channel/division which needs to be used...let's say material is not defined by sales org 1000 distribution channel 10 division 10, then you would need to go to t-code mm01 to have it extended, otherwise you need to go to mm02, then click additional data in basic data 1 of material master data, then add line item "EN" with material description, it will fix your issue,just let me know if you have further question.
