Hi All,
I just want to make it clear that is <export>/DB/<DBSYS> point to the /cdinst/sapinst/sapinst_instdir/NW701/LM/COPY/ORA/EXP/CENTRAL/AS-ABAP/EXP/ DIR? During export, sapinst will ask us to place *.SQL files to that particular directory.
Therefore, just want to confirm is export>/DB/<DBSYS> point to the /cdinst/sapinst/sapinst_instdir/NW701/LM/COPY/ORA/EXP/CENTRAL/AS-ABAP/EXP/ DIR?
Thanks.
Nicholas Chang.
I think i've clear the doubt. By moving *.SQL files to /cdinst/sapinst/sapinst_instdir/NW701/LM/COPY/ORA/EXP/CENTRAL/AS-ABAP/EXP/ when prompted by sapinst, it'll help us to copy to EXP directory/ORA/DBSYS when export completed.
Thanks,
Nicholas Chang

Hi Nicholas,
Yes you are right. As mentioned in the guide:
Before starting the export, the generated SQL files have to be copied from the specified directory to the <instdir> directory of the export. Then SAPinst copies them to the export directory <export dump directory>/ABAP/DB.
If you copy the SQL files directly to the export directory, make sure that they have read access.
